Active - Alprostadil mannitol / Inactive - Lecithin base, Pluronic gel

Alprostadil is a prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) analong that relaxes smooth muscle and dilates blood vessels within the penis tissue. When applied, it increases blood flow to the corpus cavernosum. This enhanced blood flow helps support the ability to achieve and maintain an erection.

Use of Alprostadil gel has been shown to improve: erectile dysfunction and its effects / impaired sexual function

Potential side effects: irritation of the skin, mild redness, tingling, skin dryness, and sensitivity to sunlight can happen. / Rare side effects: changes in skin pigmentation, severe itching, skin rash, swelling, and other effects associated with an allergic reaction can occur.

Before each use, ensure to read and follow the medication information provided with your prescription. Alprostadil can be compounded into a gel, which should be applied in accordance with your prescription.

Alprostadil gel should be stored at refrigerated temperatures of 36F to 46F (or 2C to 8C). Store this medication away from light. Keep medications out of reach of children and pets. Discard this medication according to the expiration date or the beyond-use date, whichever date comes first. Before each use, ensure to read and follow the medication information provided with your prescription.

When disposing of unused or expired medication, do not flush or pour down the drain. Follow local guidelines on medication disposal. If the Alprostadil gel container is empty, it may be discarded with regular waste.
