DHEA/Estradiol troches deliver the hormones dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and estradiol through the mucosal tissues in the mouth, where it is absorbed into the bloodstream. DHEA acts as a hormone precursor that the body can convert into testosterone, estrogen, and other hormones as needed, while estradiol directly supplements estrogen levels. Together, they help support hormonal balance and may improve symptoms associated with low hormone levels, such as fatigue, mood changes, hot flashes, and decreased libido.

DHEA/Estradiol troche should be stored at room temperatures of 68F to 77F (or 20C to 25C). Store this medication away from light. Keep medications out of reach of children and pets. Discard this medication according to the expiration date or the beyond-use date, whichever date comes first. Before each use, ensure to read and follow the medication information provided with your prescription.

When disposing of unused or expired medication, do not flush or pour down the drain. Follow local guidelines on medication disposal. If the DHEA/Estradiol troche packaging is empty, it may be discarded with regular waste.
