Estradiol/Testosterone cream is a combination of the hormones estriol and testosterone. Estradiol is the form of estrogen known as E2, and testosterone exhibits androgen and anabolic activity. Together, these two hormones alleviate the genitourinary symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause such as vaginal dryness, itching, irritation, and atrophy. Estradiol/testosterone cream has been shown to improve impaired sexual function associated with dyspareunia (or painful intercourse). It may also benefit urinary tract health and decrease vasomotor symptoms like hot flashes and night sweating.

Use of Estradiol/testosterone cream has been shown to improve: symptoms of menopause and low estrogen / impaired sexual function and dyspareunia / urinary incontinence and urgency / vasomotor symptoms

Estradiol/testosterone benefits may include: reduced vaginal dryness and irritation / improved urinary tract function / enhanced sexual function / decreased symptoms of menopause

Potential side effects: irritation of the skin, breast tenderness, headache, changes in mood, fluid retention, and mild nausea can happen. / Rare side effects: vaginal bleeding, severe itching, skin rash, swelling, and other effects associated with an allergic reaction can occur.

Estradiol/testosterone cream should be stored at room temperatures of 68F to 77F (or 20C to 25C). Store this medication away from light. Keep medications out of reach of children and pets. Discard this medication according to the expiration date or the beyond-use date, whichever date comes first. When disposing of unused or expired medication, do not flush or pour down the drain. Follow local guidelines on medication disposal. If the Estradiol/testosterone cream container is empty, it may be discarded with regular waste.
