Potential side effects: increased heart rate, feelings of nervousness, difficulty sleeping, heat intolerance, weight changes, or gastrointestinal effects can happen. / Rare side effects: shortness of breath, fainting, chest pain, severe itching, skin rash, swelling, and other effects associated with an allergic reaction can occur.

Levothyroxine SR capsule should be stored at room temperatures of 68F to 77F (or 20C to 25C). Store this medication away from light. Keep medications out of reach of children and pets. When disposing of unused or expired medication, do not flush or pour down the drain. Follow local guidelines on medication disposal. If the Levothyroxine container is empty, it may be discarded with regular waste.
