Proline (L-proline) is an amino acid that plays an important role in the formation of collagen and other proteins essential for healthy connective tissue. Proline injectable solution should be stored at refrigerated temperatures of 36F to 46F (or 2C to 8C). Store this medication away from light. Keep medications out of reach of children and pets. Discard this medication after 28 days of first use or according to the beyond-use date, whichever date comes first. Before each use, ensure to read and follow the medication information provided with your prescription.

When disposing of unused medication or expired vials, do not flush or pour down the drain. Follow local guidelines on medication disposal. If the Proline vial is empty, discard with regular glass waste. For broken vials and needles, discard into a puncture-proof, red FDA-cleared sharps container to prevent needle-stick injuries.
