Quadmix injection solution is a compounded medication that is prescribed under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Quadmix injection solution is a combination of papaverine, phentolamine mesylate, atropine, and alprostadil. These ingredients work together to relax smooth muscle and increase blood flow to the penis, causing and maintaining an erection.
Active - Papervine HCl, Phentolamine mesylate, Alprostadil, Atropine sulfate / Inactive - Benzyl alcohol, Sterile water
Quadmix contains four active ingredients that act within the penis tissue to improve erectile function. Alprostadil relaxes smooth muscle and increases blood flow within the penis, while papaverine promotes blood circulation. Atropine blocks cholinergic receptors, reducing smooth muscle contraction. Phentolamine blocks alpha-adrenergic receptors, further supporting vasodilation and increased blood flow. Because of these actions, Quadmix helps support the ability to achieve and maintain an erection, without the need for sexual stimulation.
