Vardenafil works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5), which is responsible for breaking down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). By increasing cGMP levels, sildenafil promotes relaxation of smooth muscle and dilation of blood vessels within the penis, allowing for increased blood flow during sexual stimulation. This enhanced blood flow helps support the ability to achieve and maintain an erection. Vardenafil does not cause an erection on its own and requires sexual arousal to be effective.

Potential side effects: irritation of the throat and mouth, headache, flushing, nasal congrestion, mild nausea, upset stomach can happen. / Rare side effects: priapism, changes in blood pressure, severe itching, skin rash, swelling, and other effects associated with an allergic reaction can occur.

Vardenafil troche should be stored at room temperatures of 68F to 77F (or 20C to 25C). Store this medication away from light. Keep medications out of reach of children and pets. Discard this medication according to the expiration date or the beyond-use date, whichever date comes first. Before each use, ensure to read and follow the medication information provided with your prescription.

When disposing of unused or expired medication, do not flush or pour down the drain. Follow local guidelines on medication disposal. If the Vardenafil troche packaging is empty, it may be discarded with regular waste.
